Barbara Danielle is an international award-winning makeup artist and multidisciplinary creator, born in Chile and now based in Los Angeles.
Her journey began in a place where dreaming big felt nearly impossible—but art changed everything. With deep-rooted passion and relentless determination, Barbara has turned every challenge into fuel for creativity.
Her work lives at the intersection of dark surrealism and high fashion, somewhere between H.R. Giger’s twisted fantasies and the shimmer of Hollywood glam. Constantly evolving, her artistic vision blends makeup, sculpture, prosthetics, design, and creative direction into one immersive experience.
Barbara creates not only to express herself, but to support others who, like her, found their will to live through art. She’s here to break molds, build new worlds, and invite others to do the same.

Awards & Highlights

First Place, “Artist of the year” and “Best technique”

On her first time doing bodypainting and competing live in the World Championship, she placed 6th and 18th in the world in two different categories: Facepainting, and Brush & Sponge.

Now with a bit more experience, she competed in a format where judges could analyze her process and work step by step online. She placed 1st and 3rd in both categories she applied to — SFX Bodypainting and Editorial Makeup — achieving the highest scores ever recorded in that category in the 27-year history of the competition.
